Sara Touey

Senior Grants Associate

Sara Touey joined the Foundation in April 2020. In her role as Senior Grants Associate, Sara supports the processing all grants and enhancing the efficiency of the Foundation’s grantmaking effectiveness.

Prior to NCF, Sara was a Coordinator for the Philadelphia Program at the Pew Charitable Trusts (Pew). During her time there, she improved cross-cutting processes and supported an evaluation capacity building initiative that strengthened grantees program improvement and data evaluation skills. Before working in philanthropy, Sara fostered collaboration across Philadelphia’s public workforce development system at the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia and the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity.

Sara graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in community, environment and development. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her new city and discovering quality good eats.
