The New York Times featured the work of NCF grantee, Queens Congregations United for Action (QCUA), who exposed the continuing crisis of mold in homes affected by Hurricane Sandy in 2012. QCUA received an emergency grant from the Nathan Cummings Foundation late last year for their ongoing and far-reaching Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.  QCUA is a local affiliate of long time NCF grantee PICO, a national network of faith based organizations.
